The Mount Diablo Ki-Aikido Club offers training in Tohei Sensei's principles of Unification of Mind and body and Ki development on a weekly basis. This includes his four principles of Shin Shin Toitsu:

In addition, the club offers instruction in other aspects of Ki development, including, but not limited to:
- Chin Shin no Gyo (Training to Calm the Mind)
- Soku Shin no Gyo (Training to Develop Strong Motivation)
- Shin Shin no Gyo (Ki Development through Kiatsu)
- Sen Shin no Gyo (Training to Make the Mind positive)
- Toitsu Taiso (Mind-Body Unification exercises)
- Misogi no Gyo (Methods designed to purify one's Spirit)
- Oneness Rythm Exercise (Relaxed Taiso)
