The Mount Diablo Ki-Aikido Club offers training in Tohei Sensei's principles of Unification of Mind and body and Ki development on a weekly basis. This includes his four principles of Shin Shin Toitsu:

  1. KEEP ONE POINT
  2. RELAX COMPLETELY
  3. KEEP WEIGHT UNDERSIDE
  4. EXTEND KI

In addition, the club offers instruction in other aspects of Ki development, including, but not limited to:

  1. Chin Shin no Gyo (Training to Calm the Mind)
  2. Soku Shin no Gyo (Training to Develop Strong Motivation)
  3. Shin Shin no Gyo (Ki Development through Kiatsu)
  4. Sen Shin no Gyo (Training to Make the Mind positive)
  5. Toitsu Taiso (Mind-Body Unification exercises)
  6. Misogi no Gyo (Methods designed to purify one's Spirit)
  7. Oneness Rythm Exercise (Relaxed Taiso)
