The Mount Diablo Ki-Aikido club was founded more than twenty-five years ago to preserve and disseminate the teachings of Koichi Tohei. As a branch Dojo of his organization, the Ki no Kenkyukai, Mt. Diablo Aikido has as the focus of its efforts the practice of Shin Shin Toitsu, both in Aikido and in daily life.
To that end, classes are offered in martial arts and Shin Shin Toitsu Do (the practice of maintaining Mind and Body Unification), so that residents of the East Bay can experience Ki development and its many applications.
